Mrs. Chloe’s Home Daycare was started to provide quality care to budget-conscious parents and families. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for every child who walks through my door.

As this is a small, home-based daycare, I’m able to give each child more personalized care and attention.

‍Also, because this is a home daycare, there is a mixed-age group, which is a common practice in Montessori schools. Mixed age groups create an environment where younger children can learn at a higher level and from their older peers, and older children can reinforce their skills by helping younger children. Mixed age groups provide many benefits, including offering real-world experience and boosting social and emotional skills.

As a legally unlicensed daycare in Ohio, I can care for up to 6 children at a time, 3 being under the age of 2.

However, I typically only have 5 children at one time.

I am Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid certified by the American Red Cross and am always up to date on my certification.

We are located in the Akron/Portage Lakes area near Coventry Elementary School

Because this is an in-home center, for security reasons, we provide the exact location upon inquiry or a scheduled tour.

We follow a simple schedule and work on fun, new things each day! Here’s an idea of what our typical day looks like:

8 AM-10 AM- Arrivals, open play time, and crafts

10 AM- Snack

10:30 AM- Circle Time

10:45 AM- Outside

11:45 AM- Lunch

12:45 PM- 1 PM Quiet Time Transition

1 PM - 3:30 PM Nap

3:30 PM Open Play
